On The Secret To Answered Prayer

“Jesus Followers Are Saved …NOT Genieized”

Those of you who believe that your heavenly Father is like a Genie in a bottle, and willing to give you everything your heart desires, immediately, would be wise to read His promise below VERY CAREFULLY!

“We live in the bold confidence that God hears our voices when we ask for things that fit His plan. And if we have no doubt that He hears our voices, we can be assured that He moves in response to our call.” ~ Jesus’ Apostle John in 1 John 5:14-15 (You can read these verses in context here.)

Our salvation is not automatically a “free ticket” to everything we want. Nonetheless, Jesus repeatedly commands that we are to humbly ask and trust God for what is his best for us. (Mark 11:23-24)  (You can read these verses in context here.)

“Name it and claim it!”, taught by some pulpiteers and TV gurus, is unbiblical nonsense.

Blessings and peace!
