On Human Trafficking

“A Rose By Any Other Name”

Human Trafficking is defined as “the illegal movement of people, typically for the purposes of forced labor, or commercial sexual exploitation”.

But that’s too polite and politically correct!

Human trafficking is really, slavery! It is not human smuggling.

Best estimates are that about 12 million Africans were shipped across the Atlantic into lifelong slavery from the 16th to the 19th centuries.

But according to Human Trafficking Statistics, there are 12.3 million slaves RIGHT NOW.

Yes, this year! (See this compelling article. )

Many of these are sex slaves who are children and forced into prostitution. The average age of U.S. sex slaves is 12-14 years. Most are girls. California has 3 of the 13 highest child sex trafficking areas.

Some of these youngsters are raped 30-40 times EACH DAY.

Human Trafficking and child slavery is more common today than it was during the 300 years of barbaric slavery during our past.

Who are these inhuman Johns?

Are Jesus Followers praying about this diabolical travesty?
